In this narrow Brunswick terrace, we transformed a challenging corridor-like layout into a light-filled, bespoke sanctuary. The continuous grey floor tile leads you to a freestanding bath tucked neatly beneath an original sash window, where natural light floods in. On one side, warm, glossy zellige-style tiles bring texture and glow; on the other, oversized charcoal tiles house a recessed shower niche and rain-head shower for a seamless, spa-like experience. A frameless glass screen preserves sightlines, while a sleek wall-hung heated towel rail and minimalist fixtures keep the space feeling open and meticulously detailed. This project proves that even the slimmest footprint can be transformed into something truly special.

"Removal of the existing shower over corner spa and creating a stylish modern space was the brief. We dropped the shower recess floor to create a large step free shower. A free-standing bath fits snuggly between contrasting tiles. On one side the bold, charcoal floor tiles flow up the shower wall creating a perfect sharpness and on the other the warm handmade, imperfect textured Moroccan tiles. A truly bespoke bathroom we kept existing timber wall panelling to half the bathroom as well the pedistal basin as a nod the original era of the house."
