For this Footscray transformation, we reworked the home’s layout, taking space from both the existing bathroom and lounge to create a new bathroom. The result is a bright, thoughtfully arranged space with a warm, understated palette. Terracotta-toned vanity cabinetry and a matching mirrored cabinet introduce colour, complemented by a softly veined benchtop and terrazzo-style tiles wrapping around the lower walls. White square tiles draw the eye upwards to a generous skylight, bringing natural light deep into the room. A fluted glass shower screen with a rounded corner adds texture and privacy while allowing light to filter through. Brushed metal fittings, a simple vessel basin and generous drawer storage complete a bathroom that brings together clever planning, everyday practicality and a distinct sense of warmth.
