In this snug Pascoe Vale bathroom we transformed a tight, classic footprint of a separate WC into a serene open plan, light-filled haven. Oversized terracotta-hued tiles wrap the bath alcove and floor in a warm, continuous ribbon, while crisp white wall tiles above keep the room feeling bright and fresh. A frameless glass shower screen preserves sightlines to a feature skylight and original stained-glass window, flooding the space with natural illumination. The custom floating timber vanity—with open shelf and integrated vessel basin—adds texture and practical storage. Polished brass fixtures and the sculpted mirror introduce refined accents, ensuring every detail contributes to this effortlessly chic transformation.

"Renovating this bathroom, we transformed an old, outdated layout into a functional, stylish, open plan design. We stole room from a sperate WC to open up a larger family bathroom. The warm inviting feeling in this room was created with the volcanic coloured large format floor tiles wrapping up the wall behind the bath. The matte white wall tiles contrast with the floor while keeping a warmth. The sourcing of unique materials by the clients is perfectly shown with the pairing of the vintage mirror and wall sconce hanging above the handmade concrete basin atop the custom, spotted gum vanity. The modern brushed brass hardware ties it all together."
